A teleprompter
can reduce shoot time considerably,
especially with inexperienced talent. GEAR
has been supplying prompting services to
commercial / industrial video producers and
media trainers for over a decade. We have
prompter presidents, governors and CEOs of
Fortune 500 companies, and we understand
discretion and value the confidentiality of
your shoot.
We have a custom-made camera platform which accommodates the smallest camcorders up to the largest motion picture cameras. Appropriate camera support is necessary and is not included in the teleprompter rental. Services are based on either a half or full day rate. A half day is 5 hours or less, and a full day is up to 10 hours. Fuel and mileage fees apply outside the Austin city limits, and overtime is assessed in quarter hour increments after 10 hours. It is wise to book our operator at least a week in advance. Scripts can be sent in advance via email, in Microsoft Word or text only formats. Please email us to schedule a booking.

Add heavy camera support for $50.
Add second prompter screen for $100.
Off-camera prompting available as well.
